How to use

- When converting to JPEG or WebP, drag the quality slider to tune compression: lower values make smaller files with lower quality.

FAQ
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion is done locally on a Canvas in your browser — your image never leaves your device, so it is safe even for sensitive content.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPEG and 24-bit BMP do not support an alpha channel, so transparent areas are filled with white. Choose PNG or WebP output to keep transparency.
Can I convert to GIF or ICO?
Currently the output formats are PNG, JPEG, WebP and BMP. If your input is an animated GIF, only its first frame is converted.
When should I use WebP?
WebP is usually smaller than JPEG at a similar visual quality and also supports transparency. It is natively supported by all modern browsers, which makes it a great fit for the web.
