Image Watermark
Add a custom text watermark to images online with adjustable position, size, color and opacity. Composed and previewed locally to protect your work.
How to use
- Drag an image onto the dashed area or click it to pick a local file. PNG, JPG and WebP are supported, up to 30MB.
- Type the watermark text and choose a position — top left, top center, top right, center, bottom left, bottom center or bottom right.
- Drag the "Font size" and "Opacity" sliders and pick a color to fine-tune the look. Oversized text shrinks automatically to stay on a single line.
- Click "Preview watermark" to see the composition; afterwards any parameter change refreshes the preview automatically.
- When satisfied, click "Download image" to save the result. JPG output is automatically placed on a white background.
FAQ
Does the watermark embed hidden information?
This tool adds a visible text watermark to clearly mark copyright or source. For invisible steganographic watermarks used to trace leaked copies, a dedicated service is required.
What is the difference between JPG and PNG output?
JPG is smaller and broadly compatible but does not support transparency — transparent areas are filled white. PNG is lossless and keeps transparency but is usually larger. The output format follows the original image.
What if my watermark text is too long?
The text is kept on one line and the font shrinks automatically until the whole string fits within the image width, avoiding broken layouts. You can also shorten the text or lower the font size manually.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is composed locally on a Canvas in your browser — neither the original nor the finished image ever leaves your device.
