How to use

  1. Drag an image onto the dashed area or click it to pick a local file. PNG, JPG and WebP are supported, up to 30MB.
  2. Choose Free or a preset ratio such as 1:1, 16:9, 4:3, 3:2 or 9:16, or enter precise X, Y, width and height values for pixel-accurate positioning.
  3. With a ratio selected, click "Apply ratio" to auto-center a crop box with that aspect ratio inside the image.
  4. The "Cropped" panel previews the output live. When you are happy, click "Crop & download" to save the file.
  5. Click "Clear" any time to reset the tool.

FAQ

Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping runs locally on a Canvas in your browser, so the image never leaves your device. It is safe for avatars, ID photos and other sensitive content.
How do I crop to exact pixel dimensions?
Simply type values into the X, Y, width and height boxes — units are pixels of the original image. X/Y set the top-left corner of the crop area, which is automatically kept inside the image.
Does the output keep my original format?
Yes. The output format follows the source: PNG keeps transparency, while JPG fills transparent areas with white. Any other source format is exported as PNG.
Can I crop animated GIFs?
This tool targets static images — cropping a GIF would drop its animation. Only static PNG, JPG and WebP files are accepted.
